How to Transform Passion into Worship?
The Heart of the Storm
Painting Description
As always you are free to interpret this piece however you choose or are led to understand it.
These are simply my own thoughts which I feel inspired to share.
My own interpretations change as I revisit with pieces as time goes on, but these are my initial thoughts at the time of creation.
Initially I painted this piece as a representation of being in love and of my husband & I sharing our creative passions as we often do.
There is so much to find here about our love but it has deeper roots within the spiritual realm. Our love is held together by The Spirit and drawn from The Love on high that we have come to know. My relationship with my husband is a piece of artwork in itself, constantly being crafted by The Creator. Within any love is a deep worship; we draw our love from The Ultimate Love and in turn use our talents and passion as a vehicle for that worship.
“Let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and so let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.” ~Hebrews 12:28-29
“I appeal to you, brothers & sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy & acceptable to God, which is your spiritual act of worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing, you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable, & perfect.” ~Romans 12:1-2
