An Invitation to Join a Journey of Overcoming Anxiety, Depression & Low Self-Esteem
For those of you who have been following my journey for a while, you know a few things about me that might confuse you. Sometimes I present uplifting & happy writing and it’s no doubt my art portrays joy, (that’s the most common thing I hear from people when they're viewing my work in person, that it’s so happy!) But I’ve also written a lot about those very low moments that don’t usually show up in my artwork.
I know as well as you, it sure is important to be honest with people and not hide part of our personalities. It’s a uniting-unveiling to show up as whoever you are in the moment, even if it’s not so pretty. Because we all get sick-&-tired of watching the “social media online-life” of an always perfect person that no one can relate to! When behind the scenes we all are only human; only a little bit of this & that, and all the things in-between. We feel it all, the good feelings and the bad.
So I wanted to make a little update….and you know me, by “little” I mean a LOT! But don’t worry, I’m gonna break it up into bite size pieces! In fact, I’ve learned so much about overcoming the HABIT of anxiety, depression and low-self esteem, that I’m gonna break it into individual topics & easy to digest ways! And I’ll be posting it all right here on my blog to help others, maybe even you!
This is just a little invitation to invite you to follow along! Because even if you’re not depressed or maybe you do have anxiety, but it doesn't feel like a habit (it might feel more like brain chemistry like it did for me) either way, what I have to say can be applied to the simplest worries and fears of everyday life. And while there’s plenty of people out there talking on the subject with great tools and endless ideas, I’m still gonna show up in this way! Why? Because I feel called to, for one, and I also know that no one else on the planet could say it like me, because that’s just the kind of unique personality I have, just like we all have. And that’s a little glimpse of how far I’ve come with my self-esteem levels! So welcome and on to the story! <Link, click it for part 2
