This is Kitchen Dwellers fan art. The Kitchen Dwellers are a bluegrass band based out of Bozeman, Montana. I created this piece over the 4 days of their show at Pine Creek, in Livingston Montana. (With finishing touches done at home, while listening to their music of course!)

I titled this piece Dance Trance-Formation because not only does their music have a trance feel, but their music also has facilitated transformation in my life! I am not the same person I was a year ago when their music opened me up to my shadows. At the time I was pretty resistant to darkness and was repressing a lot. I had done a lot of inner work, but their music helped me to cross a threshold that really needed my attention. Even this year I was so surprised to find their music helped me to surface even more. Symbols of which are hidden throughout this painting.
Of course dancing in and of itself is very useful in moving energy throughout the body, therefore processing emotions (energy in motion).
Music is so healing!!
I am incredibly thankful to these musicians for their contribution and all they have inspired in mine and my husband's life! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
