Here in this safe pasture above all the canyons of fear we have all we need, water, shade, and the greenest grass! Like a gentle lamb we surrender our life over to the supernatural protection and provision (all this being within us). We take the time to visit our own pasture within!

This piece was inspired by Psalm 95 (listed below)

I do not hold the view that The Source of Life has form like a hand or has a gender, but I love this passage in that it is a beautiful picture and analogy of the care we receive from our own loving attention (Divine attention).

And I love the picture of it being masculine (I’d say this hand looks masculine) because usually women are seen to be the caregivers yet men's hands are typically stronger, perfect for warding off any physical dangers. Either way it is almost like a unity of masculine and feminine in one. In fact, more than ever I'm moving completely into the feminine side of viewing my own Divine Inner Nature (unlike the way I was taught as a child, very masculine)

Psalm 95
“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
For the LORD is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the depths of the earth;
the heights of the mountains are his also.
The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!
For he is our God,
and we are the people of his pasture,
and the sheep of his hand.”
(there are more verses to this poem, I do not like the following verses so I chose not to include them)
