Midnight Moonlight was played by 2 different bands on day 2 of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival! I heard it by Peter Rowan! Of course it just so happened to be the New Moon on day 3 when I went back in to paint on this piece. I started the background on day 2 and it started to lightning, then the next day I went in with the rest.
The falls are Bridal Veil Falls in Telluride.
