Bring nature into your home!
This sculptural painting is not painted with acrylic paint. It is a paint made from plants with no toxin or plastic and produced in a solar powered facility. By Natural Earth Paint.
I also mixed the paint from powdered pigments.

Bringing nature into your daily living environment is a huge intention behind my work. This piece hits it right on point! I long to inspire others to protect our natural lands and Earth.
As a symbol of sustainability, I used all natural Earth paint on this work, which I hand mixed from rock and earth powder pigments into a plant-based medium. I used a glass mower to grind the pieces of nature into a fine substance. These paint particles can be filtered out of our water unlike other paints.
I pressed all of the plants, leaves, ferns and flowers in the pages of a book. Many are from the Appalachian mountains, but others have traveled as far as Montana where I used to live and call home, though I grew up in Virginia and have now moved back to be with family.
I use this natural paint as a symbol rather than to make a noticeable difference physically- as our Earth is being destroyed by much larger pollutants. Take it as inspiration to not only change your own habits but contribute to a new way of thinking for humanity at large.
