I created this one before I became a "Hard-Core Christian" again (learn about that in this video).
Since then, I have released being "hard-core" yet again...because "hard-core" to me meant "Fear-Based".
I had returned to my Faith already, but I hadn't freaked myself out yet.
Here I was expressing my sad loneliness of divorce-grief, and how that played into parts of my body, with wishes to "balance and heal" those areas.
Anyways, if I had been hard core when I painted this, I would have been afraid of these yin-yang symbols.
Why? because I though every little thing was an entry point for demonic activity. watch the video to hear the longer story.
It's Not.
When I painted it, I saw it as a symbol for balance. It's honestly such a pretty symbol to me. But I'm not sure that I will keep creating work with these symbols or not.
It can be seen as a Taoist symbol too. Which a few months ago I actually referred to myself as a Taoist. Someone asked me if I was, and I said yes.
Crazy how quickly beliefs change. I've talked a lot about this Taoist/Christian "flip" on my podcast.
True change is transformation without trying!
...and really shouldn't be based in fear if it is to be lasting change.
Anyways again, great sales copy right? Not.
Now you can believe me when I say I don't do this just for money. I do this to TEACH honestly. (and for money)
...As well as to express myself.
But seriously, I can't keep all this art I make, so someone buy it!
Buy it ALL! LOL.
Ask for discounts if you need, I don't mind.
Anyways again, again, What does this piece cause YOU to feel?
Your interpretation is actually more important than mine, I just share mine for funsies.
