I created this piece while listening to my husband jam some tunes with a friend!

His friend was on drums sometimes, but most of the time he was on the piano!
AH!! What a beautiful sound!
...Hence the up and down red marks in this painting, as a piano has such a long range of cascading sounds!

I was just trying to capture the music as a visual.
I started doing this a few years ago, but this summer I really started using these teeny tiny little strokes like swiggles or scoops to illustrate the music I was hearing. And they have shown up in so many paintings since!

Also notice the tiniest heart I've ever painted!! It is sitting inside of a teared up eye.
