"Lifting Yourself Up"

I was ready to draw, so I closed my eyes and asked what needed to come through. The girl reaching out flashed into my mind. Then separately the sun showed itself in my mind's eye.

I thought, who or what is she reaching out for?

Then it was obvious; for herself.

So I drew a heart around the two expressions of the same woman.

The creation of this drawing felt healing.

The many sides of who we are are within the same person. The side of us that's dark and within the shadows; the part of our heart we fear to enter, it has its place. The side of light, love, courage, and pure acceptance as well.
The two sides call to one another.

Will the sides be able to coincide?
Will they teach each other? Bring awareness to the secret places that need it, not to fix or condemn, but to transmute and use the wasted power & energy.
