  • Class will be held at the Roosevelt Center (in the conference room) Part of the class fee goes towards renting this space.

  • Ages 6-12

  • Four Weeks

  • Thursdays, March 14th, 21st, SKIP March 28th, and resume class for April 4th and 11th.

  • 4-5:30pm

  • 1.5 hour class

  • Lesson Plan:

Week 1 - Realistic Drawing in Pencil, Shading, Value, Hand-Eye Coordination, Underdrawings, learn the different pencils. (students must bring a reference Photo, preferably in Black and White)

Week 2 - Painting Landscapes in Acrylic with notes on Composition. (students must bring a reference Photo, preferably in color)

Week 3 - Cartooning in Pen and how to shade and create value with Pen.

Week 4 - Still Life Painting in Watercolor, Building to the Value. (Students must bring an assortment of Fruits, Veggies and one simple object of their choosing)
