How to Have Great Energy

A real and actual TOOL for self development, keep reading!

It’s beautiful that our emotions can overflow into other people's lives, that’s why it’s so important to guard our hearts and minds so that we exhibit loving vibes out to those we meet. More than guarding our hearts, one of my favorite speakers puts it this way:

“You don’t need to protect your energy, rather to project it.” ~Cathy Heller

i.e. be the most powerful force in the room, no need to guard your light, simply to shine it!

Like the light projector that can show us a movie on a screen. As my hubby Sam would say, “Inner Reflection, Outer Projection.”

While this is great “talk”, what really gets us to the point of having such great energy that it’s overflowing to everyone around us?

Practice.

But what is the practice?

Well that’s what my excitement is coming from, it’s not an external circumstance, it’s the simple practice of Conscious Emotions. Consciously choosing how you want to feel! (Hear me out, I've been depressed before too)

 

In my recent Youtube video I mentioned briefly that if we were to wake up every morning and choose a feeling we want to exhibit throughout the day, then actually sat in that place of mindfulness for long enough to access that feeling, we would then be able to fall back on that feeling throughout our day. Simply by having that initial intention upon waking. 

But it’s not a one time practice! 

This momentum I’m feeling now has not only come from strings of days of blissful choosing and coming back to my intention even in the moments of my day that I “slip up” but it also has its foundation in deep depression.

I spent the time processing many repressed emotions that I was then able to release… and those had been accumulated for years. Meditation has helped give me space to process (meditation sometimes looks ugly)

Of course we all have our own journeys, but by being in "my presence," even if it’s just through an email or blog post (better yet a piece of my art, or face to face via a youtube video)
....though this interaction, each of us can rise up to the level of blissful embodiment I am now “exhibiting” or more accurately “channeling”. 

Indeed, what is it that animates us when we are living in our full power, and being our true self?

It is the essence of Bliss and Love which we all have access to. Divinity.


But are you accessing IT? That’s the question. 

 

What kind of Practice can you put in place that would help you access it? 

 

And beyond that, you need accountability. 

Maybe you need a support system to help you feel safe enough in your nervous system in order to process the emotional trauma stored in your body as a first step toward moving forward. 

 

If nothing else, I invite you to practice accessing your truest self upon first awakening in the morning. Then choose how you want to feel and see if you can access that feeling. Then revisit that emotion as often as possible throughout your day.

 

And this is coming from someone who this time last year would wake up and immediately start crying because I didn’t want to face my day, with thoughts of not even wanting to be alive.

 If I can make it through, so can you!!!! The momentum is real!
