Inner Worlds
This collection was born from the most challenging winter of my life. November 2022, I got injured while out skiing and reinjured again in March 2023. I spent most of my time in bed. Although I ended up getting very depressed, I also had a lot of time for inner reflection. The reflection continued for years as the wake of a life changing event left me grieving my broken marriage.
This body of work is like the dark night of the soul. With many ethereal vortexes appearing it touches on inner contemplation. Meditation starts to show its many faces, the shadows dug up from the subconscious, its mirroring illusions of false hopes shrouded in light.
